Terms of Service
These terms govern RewardLift, including the RewardLift update to GiftCart, provided by CARINUSH MEDIA SRL, CUI 49060650, Romania, trading as Balkaniq Apps.
1. Your service agreement
By installing or using RewardLift after these terms are made available to you, you agree to these Terms of Service and the incorporated Data Processing Agreement on behalf of your store. You must be authorized to act for the merchant. If you do not agree, do not install or continue using RewardLift; you can uninstall it in Shopify. No separate in-app agreement checkbox is required. The Privacy notice explains our handling of merchant and support information.
These terms apply prospectively. They do not assert that an existing merchant accepted this version on an earlier installation date, and do not replace actual records of earlier express acceptance. Required Shopify permissions remain subject to Shopify's authorization process.
2. Features and merchant instructions
RewardLift provides merchant-configured reward games, purchase offers, contact collection and verification, Shopify contact synchronization and backlink partnerships. We process only data necessary for the features you enable, within the permissions granted through Shopify and as described in the Data Processing Agreement. You control campaign publication, rewards, opt-in preferences and partnership settings. Installing the app does not publish a reward game or approve a new partnership automatically.
3. Customer privacy and acceptable use
You are responsible for your offers, customer notices and lawful instructions to us. Obtain any customer consent required for your intended processing, and respect unsubscribe requests. These service terms do not constitute a shopper's consent to marketing. Do not use purchased, scraped or unauthorized contact lists, send spam, submit unnecessary sensitive data, or use the service unlawfully. Email verification is not, by itself, permission to send marketing.
4. Plans and billing
Plan prices, allowances and any usage charges are displayed in the app and approved through Shopify where required. Installing or using RewardLift, or seeing its legal notice, does not approve a paid subscription, an extra usage budget or a price increase. Existing GiftCart billing arrangements and preserved gift bots remain unchanged unless the merchant approves an applicable change. Applicable taxes and Shopify's billing terms may apply.
5. Support and security
Contact contact@balkaniq-apps.com for service or privacy questions. Optional access for support personnel remains subject to the verified store owner's separate authorization; these terms do not enable support access. We maintain the safeguards and incident response practices described in the Data Processing Agreement. Keep your Shopify accounts secure and authorize only the personnel who need access.
6. Shopify and other providers
CARINUSH MEDIA SRL is solely responsible for RewardLift, its development, operation, support and processing of merchant data. Shopify is not responsible for faults in the app or harm resulting from its installation or use and, except where Shopify expressly states otherwise, does not provide app installation or usage support. We are responsible for liabilities arising from our app and our handling of merchant data, as applicable under law. Shopify may suspend or terminate our API access, which can affect the service. The Data Processing Agreement identifies our processing providers and their purposes.
7. Ending use and changes
You may stop using RewardLift and uninstall it through Shopify. Data return, deletion and retention follow the Data Processing Agreement; uninstalling does not delete contacts already synchronized into your Shopify store. We may restrict processing that is unlawful or threatens service security. Material changes to these terms will be versioned and communicated through an available merchant contact or in-app notice before taking effect where required; additional consent will be obtained where applicable. Changes do not silently authorize new charges or expanded customer marketing consent.
